Since starting up Skinny Bakery in 2013, we've been overwhelmed with some of the exciting recipes you've been making with our pearls and cakes and the creative ways they're being used!

So much so that we’re kicking off some new content on our blog today, it’s called #skinnybakeryrecipe where we share the very best to come from our customers’ creative brains and pass on the inspiration to you!

Our first recipe comes from an Instagram user and long time customer @JadePalmer_SW

Jade made this deliciously simple recipe for her 30k+ followers using our Cookie and Cream Pearls, an indulgent looking snack that uses a variety of ingredients that low in syn count and trust us, it’s definitely not as naughty as it looks!

Ingredients

For the pancakes:

  • Skinny Bakery Cookies and Cream Pearls (One Pack)
  • 40g Oats
  • Few drops Vanilla Essence
  • 3 tbsp's Fat Free Plain Yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Medium Eggs
  • One Roll of Oreo Thins
  • White Chocolate Syrup (Sugar Free)
  • Dark Chocolate Syrup (Sugar Free)
  • Squirty Cream

Instructions

Step 1:

(Pancakes): Blitz 40g’s of Oats in a blender until it’s a fine powder, add two mixed eggs, a few drops of vanilla essence, 3 tbsp’s of fat-free plain yoghurt and half a tsp of baking powder, whisk all until smooth and then you are ready to fry the mix in a pan!

Step 2:

Before frying the pancakes, mix some sugar-free white chocolate syrup with some Quark using a spoon, you will want to layer this mixture underneath the individual pancakes in the stack.

Step 3:

Fry the pancakes until they are a golden brown colour, once prepared stack up your pancakes as desired and start inserting the Quark/white chocolate syrup mix atop each individual slice in your stack. Add your crushed up Oreo Thins by crumbling generously throughout.

Step 4:

Top with squirty cream, some dark chocolate syrup and some of our very own Cookie and Cream Pearls!

A’Viola!

That’s a delicious dessert that’s low in syns and an absolute doddle to make! What more could you honestly ask for?
