1) What is the shelf life of your products?
Please note that the best before dates you see on the packs are an indication for ambient storage. Here’s some useful information on the shelf life of our products:
Our Pearls, Cakes, and Brownies have a shelf life of up to 5/7 days in a cool cupboard as displayed by our ambient best-before dates. They can last up to 30 days when refrigerated from receipt or for up to 2 months when frozen from receipt.
Our Layer Cakes should be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days, until the best before date shown, or can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months from receipt.
Our Frosting Spreads have a shelf life of up to 3 months when stored unopened in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened store in the fridge below 5°C and consume within 30 days.
We always advise storing your Pearls, Cakes, and Brownies in the fridge or freezer from the day of arrival, especially during the warmer months, and if you know you won’t be consuming them all before their ambient best-before dates. We pack our cakes full of healthier, real ingredients such as fruits and veggies so we recommend placing these treats directly in the fridge or freezer upon receipt to maintain their quality and freshness for longer.
2) What time will the cakes be delivered? Can I choose what time?
Delivery is carried out by our chosen courier from Tuesday to Saturday, at any time usually between 7.30 am and 7.30 pm. We do not offer timed delivery slots.

3) Where are you based?
We are based at Unit 6, Wessex Road, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, SL8 5DT
4) Can I modify or cancel my order after it’s placed?
Please get in touch with customer service via email at least 24 hours before despatch to discuss your options.
5) Do you offer gluten and dairy-free options?
We’re pleased to say that we do have a made “without dairy” range of tasty treats! You can find them here: Made without dairy – Mariella’s
We have a selection of products made with wheat alternatives. While every care is taken, they are produced in the same bakery as wheat-containing products, so we cannot guarantee they are completely wheat-free.
6) Are your products suitable for Diabetics?
Whilst our cakes are made with considerably less sugar than most on the market, they are not made to any specifications to match the dietary requirements of this condition.
We are unable to offer advice regarding individual sugar and carbohydrate tolerances and suggest this advice be issued by a trained medical professional who is assessing your health. All the ingredients and nutritional information for our products are listed on our website.
7) Do you offer a welcome discount to new customers?
Yes! When you visit the website, you will see a pop-up that will ask you to sign up for our newsletter. If you do sign up, you will receive a welcome offer discount!
8) Do you have a subscription service?
Yes! You can become a subscriber at checkout and choose your frequency – 2, 4 or 6 weeks. Subscribers can benefit from 15% off their orders. You can pause, cancel or change your delivery date or subscription frequency at any time.
